The Jean-Baptiste Say Institute for Entrepreneurship relies on a unique European network which was developed in 2007 by the Entrepreneurship Chair of ESCP Europe and has today more than 50 researchers and teachers. Our goal is to train entrepreneurs and leaders around the world in entrepreneurship and, to prepare tomorrow’s managers for profound changes in the world of work.


Launch of EU Startup Monitor

The EU Commission initiated “EU Startup Monitor” has been launched in Graz, Austria during the annual SME Assembly and presents comparable data for 21 startup ecosystems in Europe. The execution of the research was done by ESCP Europe researchers Prof. Dr. René Mauer and Lisa Steigertahl.

ESCP Europe Berlin Master-in-Management graduate receives popular EXIST Business Start-up Grant

Julian Wächter, alumnus of ESCP Europe Berlin, is granted the EXIST business start-up scholarship sponsored by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) for a period of one year. He came up with the idea of his start-up concept Livebird, an innovative fashion deal platform, during his master’s degree.
